Milan denies Piazza Duomo to the Ukrainian community

10 years after the crazy military aggression of the Russian Federation in towards Ukraine, on the macabre anniversary of the Russian invasion a large scale on 24 February 2022, Milan denies Piazza Duomo to the community Ukraine.

It is shameful that on the anniversary of the Russian invasion the Ukrainian community cannot close down its true peace procession in the Square of the Duomo, a place where the UaMi community shouts its voice every day disdain towards Putin’s regime and the demand for a just peace.

The demonstration, organized by UaMi, Radicali Italiani and Liberi Oltre Le Illusioni has sent a formal request to the Municipality of Milan and DIGOS month ago and now, two days before the demonstration, we are being denied the right to close the event in a place that is symbolic for us.
